At L'Chaim Center, we believe that Israel is the promised land. We are inherently connected to the Land of Israel in an unapologetic and unequivocal way. Our bond with Israel is alive, deeply rooted in our leadership, and experienced firsthand by our community.
Our Founders' Journey
Founders Rabbi David and Ali Begoun found their own paths to Judaism through studying in Israel. Their deep love for the land culminated in them making Aliyah in 2021. Today, that legacy continues as all of their children serve, or have served, proudly in the IDF.
Our Leadership's Roots
Executive Director Rabbi Gadi and Eve Levy also share profound roots in the Land of Israel. Having spent over 15 years living there, Israel is a fundamental pillar of who the Levys are, and they bring that authentic, lived experience to the L'Chaim community every day.

Momentum Trips
Much of L'Chaim's drive and momentum has been forged on our Momentum trips for both men and women. Over 300 men and women have traveled with us, experiencing life-changing journeys alongside Ali, Rabbi David, Rabbi Gadi, and Eve.
